PeopleSoft HCM Update Image 55
Oracle has released PeopleSoft HCM Update Image 55. The release introduces new capabilities designed to improve HR operations, streamline manager workflows, and create a more engaging employee experience. Here is a look at the main features and what they mean for organizations running PeopleSoft HCM.
Team Time dashboard
Managing employee time is becoming more centralized and intuitive. The new Team Time Dashboard gives managers a single workspace for reviewing employee time and absences.
Instead of navigating through multiple pages, managers can quickly switch between employees from one place. Information on the dashboard updates dynamically, which helps managers spot exceptions and act on them more efficiently.
Digital badges
Employee recognition continues to become a more integrated part of PeopleSoft HCM. With Image 55, organizations can award digital badges for skills, certifications, milestones, and achievements.
Those badges are visible across multiple HCM experiences, so recognition doesn’t stay in one corner of the system. The feature is designed to encourage engagement while giving employee accomplishments greater visibility.
Absence management WorkCenter
Oracle is continuing its investment in administrator productivity. A new WorkCenter brings absence requests, approvals, reports, and insights together in one workspace.
Administrators can perform individual or bulk actions from a single interface, and built-in work management helps identify the transactions that need immediate attention.
Approval insights
Approval bottlenecks are easier to identify before they affect operations. A new Approval Insights Dashboard provides visibility across approval activity, allowing administrators to monitor workloads and approval trends. With delays easier to see, approvals can move forward more quickly.
Additional enhancements
Image 55 also includes several quality-of-life improvements across HCM.
Profile Management now supports additional employee information, such as hobbies, clothing sizes, and meal preferences. Emergency contact controls allow employees to specify contacts for different emergency scenarios. New Activity Guide, Landing Page, Payroll, and configuration enhancements continue Oracle’s focus on everyday usability.
Maintenance and compliance updates
Beyond the main features, Image 55 includes several important maintenance and compliance updates.
Tax Updates 26-B and 26-C are included to support the July 2026 payroll tax changes for British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The release delivers a number of targeted enhancements across Human Resources, while Payroll receives a smaller set of changes focused primarily on legislative compliance. Recruitment receives no major feature enhancements in this image, which reinforces the release’s emphasis on HR operations, Time and Labor, Absence Management, and manager productivity.
The bottom line
From the new Team Time Dashboard and digital badges to Approval Insights and the Absence Management WorkCenter, Image 55 focuses on reducing administrative effort while making everyday HR processes more intuitive and efficient.
